In its seventh year, Kids Free in October offers San Diegans and tourists the opportunity to visit more museum destinations than ever before, including The Nat, at a fraction of the price.
Presented by the San Diego Museum Council and ScholarShare, the program provides free admission for kids 12 and under at 43 arts, cultural, and science museums in San Diego County with an adult ticket purchase.
During the month of October, children 12 and under will receive free general admission to The Nat with a paid adult OR can pay $5 to enjoy access to unlimited 2D and 3D films in the giant-screen theater beginning October 14—theater closed due to construction through October 13.*
To redeem this offer, download the coupon and present in person at the Admissions Desk.
*Free general admission does not include 3D films. Coupon must be presented at time of visit. No retroactive discounts. Limit two free child admissions per paid adult. Cannot be combined with other offers.
Free = General admission to the Museum + the 2D film Ocean Oasis
$5 = General admission to the Museum + unlimited 2D and 3D films in the giant-screen theater
Note: Maker Faire San Diego is October 7 and 8, and The Nat is participating by featuring several makers inside the Museum. Kids who visit The Nat during that weekend and receive free admission as part of Kids Free in October will be able to participate in maker activities inside the Museum. To participate in maker activities outside the Museum, visitors must purchase a Maker Faire ticket.
